Kukulkan Plaza. 60,000 square meter shopping center that has more than 250 shops and boutiques in a close and safe environment, 6 specialty restaurants, bars, cafes, 2 theaters and bowling alley, as well as a Food Court offering 9 different options.

Plaza La Isla. The glittering, ultra trendy (and ultra expensive) La Isla Shopping Village is on the Nichupte Lagoon under a giant canopy. A series of canals and small bridges are designed to give the place a Venetian look. In addition to a wide range of shops, the mall has a marina, an aquarium, a disco, restaurants, and movie theaters.

Flamingo Plaza is a small, high-tech plaza beautifully decorated with marble. It has designer, duty-free, and sportswear shops, an exchange booth, and two boutiques selling imports. Among other facilities you can find bank and ATM. Famous restaurants are located here like Planet Hollywood, Margarita Ville, Outback, Pat O'brien's.

Plaza Caracol. The largest and most contemporary of the malls, it is located north of the Convention Center. It houses about 200 shops and boutiques, including two pharmacies, art galleries, a currency exchange, and folk-art and jewelry shops, as well as cafes and restaurants. Boutiques include Benetton, Bally, Gucci, and Ralph Lauren, with prices lower than their U.S. counterparts.

Plaza Las Americas is a shopping mall located in downtown Cancun. Its 50-plus stores, three restaurants, eight movie theaters, ATM, book stores, pharmacy, video arcade, fast-food outlets, and three large department stores will make you think you're back home. It houses JC Penney, Sears, Liverpool, J&C, Pelletier, Sanborns, Mama Roma's, Chedraui supermarket and much more beautiful decorated stores. Ask to any taxi driver to take you there. |

Plaza Bonita Cancun (Downtown) Located on Av. Xel-ha, Behind the Post Office, next to Mercado 28. As its name indicates (Plaza Bonita means beautiful plaza) this shopping mall resembles a typical Mexican village. It has many stores where you can find handcrafts, fine art pieces, paintings, hair shop, cafes, restaurants, money exchange booth, bank, 2 ATM, gym, travel agencies, computer store, ice cream shop, jewelries. It is worth a visit to this beautiful place, to get there just ask the taxi driver to take you to the plaza, although it is not necessary tell him that it is located behind the post office (correos) building and next to the famous market 28. |

Market 28 commonly called mercado veintiocho. A good spot to check out souvenirs and handcrafts. Find the most ample variety of items you can imagine, beautiful pieces of art hand made by mexicans, silver jewelry, pottery. Just off Avenida Yaxchilan and Sunyaxchen one block away from the post office, This popular market is filled with shops selling many of the same souvenir items found in the Hotel Zone, but at half prices. It is like a huge flea market where you can deal the price with the vendors. After you visit this market don't forget to go to Plaza Bonita located just a few meters away the market. |

Market Ki-Huic (Downtown) |
The place to deal with the local vendors all kind of handcrafts, Mexican blankets, sombreros, silver items. Located in downtown this place is crowded by tourists all the time. |

Coral Negro |
Coral Negro, next to the Convention Center, is the only open-air market in the Hotel Zone, with about 50 stalls selling craft items. It's open seven days a week until late evening. |

Super Markets |
The following super markets are located in downtown. If you wish to buy at very reasonable prices groceries, bakery, casual clothing, shoes, beach towels, sun blockers, souvenirs or just to watch around, the Cancun's super stores are the right place. All of them open at 7:00 AM and close at midnight. In the hotel zone of Cancun you can visit the CHEDRAUI SELECTO which is a gourmet super market offering high quality food products, it is located in Punta Cancun near Plaza Caracol. |

Chedraui. Groceries, meat, poultry, dairy products, bakery, pharmacy, clothing, electronics, 1 ATM, This is one of the less expensive super markets in town. Local people buy their groceries here at very reasonable prices.
